Maharashtra: Latur teacher wins national award; here's all you need to know

Vaibhav Vasantrao Kulkarni, a mathematics teacher at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Latur, has been selected for the National Teachers’ Award 2026.
The government on Friday announced the National Teachers Awards 2026 for 48 teachers.
Kulkarni, who has over three decades of teaching experience, has developed innovative teaching methods and low-cost learning aids to help students understand mathematical concepts.
His YouTube channel, “Maths Made Easy with Vaibhav Kulkarni”, features over 700 videos.
“I feel extremely happy and proud to receive this prestigious recognition,” he told PTI.
