Karnataka Congress has suspended Member of Legislative Council Abdul Jabbar for alleged anti-party activities during the Davanagere South by-election. Jabbar, who sought a ticket to become an MLA but was overlooked in favor of Samarth Shamanur Mallikarjuna, is accused of supporting other candidates. The suspension was ordered by state president and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.
