Protest outside Hyderabad school after teacher allegedly assigns ‘religious homework’ to student; BJP workers detained
Police detained BJP workers protesting a teacher’s termination over religious homework. The teacher was dismissed after allegedly assigning religious tasks to a Class 2 student. BJP leaders demanded the school’s closure and action against responsible individuals. Parents alleged their Hindu child was instructed to recite Islamic prayers as schoolwork. The school permanently disqualified the teacher from future employment within its institutions.
