Pushed into corner, Karnataka council chairman Basavaraj Horatti set to quit
Karnataka Legislative Council chairman Basavaraj Horatti will resign on August 14. He accused the Congress of trying to control constitutional posts. The ruling party named Saleem Ahmed as its nominee for the position. Horatti alleges the Congress high command directed the chief minister. He will explain events before stepping down to the House.
