Royal Challengers lose quick wickets, reach 100 runs in 10 overs vs Sunrisers

In the IPL 2026 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have reached the score of 100 runs for the loss of three wickets after the completion of 10 overs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

With an aim of chasing the target of 256 runs, opening batsman Venkatesh Iyer departed after delivering a fiery knock of 44 runs in 19 balls, including four boundaries and the same number of maximums. Stalwart Virat Kohli managed to score 15 runs in 11 balls, with the help of two boundaries. Devdutt Padikkal was dismissed on 21 runs in 14 balls, including two boundaries and a maximum.

Captain Rajat Patidar and Krunal Pandya are unbeaten at the crease.

Hyderabad`s Eshan Malinga and Sakib Hussain managed to pick up two and one wickets, respectively. Skipper Pat Cummins, Impact Player Harshal Patel, and Shivang Kumar are yet to claim their first wicket.

Earlier, having opted to bat first, Sunrisers Hyderabad`s (SRH) opening batsman Travis Head accumulated 26 runs in 16 balls, including five boundaries. Fellow opening batsman Abhishek Sharma scored 56 runs off 22 deliveries, laced with four boundaries and five maximums.

Swashbuckling batsman Heinrich Klaasen played a knock of 51 runs in just 24 balls. His knock included two boundaries and five maximums.

Later, wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan garnered 79 runs off 46 deliveries, including eight boundaries and three maximums. Shouldering him was Nitish Kumar Reddy, who scored an unbeaten 29 runs in 12 balls, with the help of a boundary and three maximums. With this, the Sunrisers posted a total of 255 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs against the Royal Challengers.

Bengaluru`s Rasikh Salam returned with the figures of two wickets for 52 runs in four overs. Suyash Sharma and Krunal Pandya also bagged one wicket each. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood, and Romario Shepherd went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against the “Orange Army”.
