Special officer ‘misused’ CJ’s name: Bombay HC junks order withdrawing trustees list
In a significant ruling, the Bombay high court reversed Anju Shende’s March 14 directive that called for the withdrawal of trustee selections. The court concluded that Shende exploited the Chief Justice’s name without proper backing, as there was no prior consent. The judges deemed her communication both unlawful and highly inappropriate, leading to the restoration of the original trustee selection list.
