Sudharsan, Buttler take Titans to 82 runs in 10 overs against Super Kings

In the IPL 2026 match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Gujarat Titans (GT) have reached the score of 82 runs for the loss of one wicket after the completion of 10 overs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
With an aim of chasing a target of 159 runs, GT`s opening batsman Sai Sudharsan has scored 39 runs off 28 balls, including four boundaries and a maximum. Captain Shubman Gill was dismissed on 33 runs in 23 balls, with the help of a boundary and three maximums.
Shouldering Sudharsan in the run chase is wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler, who has scored nine runs in nine balls, including a boundary.
CSK`s Noor Ahmad has managed to pick up one wicket by giving away 11 runs in two overs. Akeal Hosein, Anshul Kamboj, Jamie Overton, Gurjapneet Singh, and Shivam Dube are yet to claim any wickets.
IPL 2026, Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans: First innings` summary
Earlier in the first innings of the match, the Super Kings posted a total of 158 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
Having put to bat first, Chennai Super Kings` (CSK) wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson managed to score 11 runs in 15 balls, including two boundaries. Urvil Patel and Impact Player, Sarfaraz Khan, departed on four and zero runs, respectively. Dewald Brevis was dismissed on two runs in nine balls.
Later, Shivam Dube registered 22 runs off 17 deliveries, laced with three boundaries and a maximum. Kartik Sharma also lost his wicket after scoring 15 runs in nine balls, including three boundaries. Jamie Overton smashed 18 runs in just six balls, with the help of three boundaries and a maximum. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad delivered a crucial knock by scoring an unbeaten 74 runs off 60 deliveries. His knock also included six boundaries and four maximums. With this, the Super Kings posted a total of 158 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs against the Titans.
Gujarat Titans` (GT) pacer Kagiso Rabada returned with the figures of three wickets for 25 runs in four overs. Arshad Khan also bagged two wickets by conceding 43 runs in four overs. Mohammed Siraj and Manav Suthar also chipped in with one wicket each. Jason Holder and Rashid Khan went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against CSK.
