Telangana high court asks govt to allot house site to ’71 war veteran
A 70-year-old 1971 war veteran, P Seetaramaraju, who was injured and medically boarded out, has finally received a favourable order from the Telangana High Court. The court directed the state government to allot him a 300-square-yard house site, overriding a previous rejection based on nativity. This decision acknowledges his long-term residence in Hyderabad and the spirit of welfare schemes for disabled soldiers.
