Telangana high court directs CBI to probe ST law graduate’s honor killing
In a significant ruling, the Telangana High Court has mandated the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to look into the dubious death of law graduate Dharawath Nikhil, discovered in a canal in 2022. Originally deemed a suicide, it was reclassified to murder amidst honor killing allegations tied to his relationship with an upper-caste woman.
