A 62-year-old government employee was allegedly beaten to death by his wife. The fatal quarrel reportedly stemmed from disputes over retirement benefits and property. Elders were present to mediate the ongoing disagreements between the couple. The wife allegedly struck the victim on the head with a pestle. Police have taken the wife into custody for further questioning.
