Xiaomi 18 Pro Series to feature a rear screen:New race for premium phones; three 200-megapixel cameras and a screen on the back of the phone
The next few months are going to be quite interesting for the smartphone market. Companies like Vivo, Oppo, and Xiaomi are preparing to make big bets on camera technology in their upcoming smartphones. Several smartphones are now expected to feature three 200-megapixel cameras.
Samsung may also introduce similar technology. Looking at this new generation of phones, features such as 2nm chip processors, large batteries, privacy displays, and external camera lenses that can be attached to phones appear to be emerging as the next defining features of premium smartphones. 1. Vivo X500 Pro Series: 200MP telephoto camera The camera is the biggest attraction of the Vivo X500 Pro and Pro Max. Both phones have three cameras, including a special camera developed in collaboration with Sony. Both phones feature a 200MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. When Vivo’s 200mm and 400mm external lenses are attached, the zoom can reach up to 20x. Price: The price in India could start at around Rs 1.4 lakh. 2. Oppo X10 Series: All three cameras with 200 megapixels This is the first phone to feature 200MP sensors in all three rear cameras. The phone comes with a 144Hz AMOLED display, an 8,000mAh battery, and 80W charging. It is powered by the Dimensity 9600 Pro processor and offers up to 16GB of RAM. 3. Xiaomi 18 Pro Series: The phone will feature a rear screen The Xiaomi 18 series will feature a privacy display. It will also have a screen on the back, allowing users to run small apps and use features such as animated wallpapers. Both phones will feature a 200MP primary camera and a 200MP telephoto camera. Launch: No announcement has been made for India. 4. OnePlus 16 to also feature a 200-megapixel camera The OnePlus 16 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor and offer up to 16GB of RAM. Custom co-processors will be included to improve network performance. It will be the first OnePlus phone to feature a 200MP camera alongside two 50MP cameras. The phone will also pack a 9,000mAh battery and support 50W wireless charging. Launch: It will launch in China on October 12. No announcement has been made for India. 5. Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro: Could be a smaller version of the Ultra There are reports that Samsung may introduce a new model in its Galaxy S27 series next year. The Galaxy S27 Pro could be positioned as a smaller alternative to the Ultra model.
According to leaks, it will feature a 6.47-inch display and a privacy display. The phone is expected to pack a 5,200mAh battery and support 60W charging. The camera setup could include a new 200MP primary sensor, a 5x telephoto camera, and an ultrawide camera. In India, the phone could be powered by the Exynos 2700 processor.
