Sabalenka attended the match in a white sleeveless co-ord set, and fans were quick to react to her appearance at the UFC match.

Earlier, she suffered a loss in the final of the US Open 2026 against Elena Rybakina. The 28-year-old athlete was denied a three-peat by 4-6, 7-5, 2-6.

Following the victory, Rybakina acknowledged the crowd before greeting Sabalenka, who was sitting on the bench. She was seen smashing her racket on the court and later tossed it aside.

The Belarusian yelled at the cameraperson who tried to capture her emotions after the loss.

In the China Open, she managed to secure a win against Mexico’s Renata Zarazúa in the round of 64 before crashing out in the round of 32.

She registered a win by 6-1 and 6-3 against Zarazúa, but fell short by 4-2 and 3-6 against Czech Republic’s Nikola Bartůňková in the round of 32.

Sabalenka also suffered a loss in the round of 32 at the Wuhan Open. The USA’s Ann Li defeated her 3-6, 6-4, 7-6.

She skipped the WTA 500 events in Asia. The Belarusian could have played herself, but she chose rest and a clear run at the year-end prize.

Currently, she is enjoying the second rank in the WTA rankings with a total of 7550 points. Rybakina is at the top with 9501 points, and Mirra Andreeva is in the third place with 6306 points.

However, she is yet to play her last event in 2026 at the WTA Finals and will look to end the season on a high note. Having qualified for the sixth year in a row for the tournament showcases her dominance in the sport. Her potential clash against Rybakina will be interesting to watch out for.

The venue will also add to the drama, as the WTA Finals is all set to take place in Indian Wells for a one-off edition in 2026. The WTA Finals 2026 is set to be played from November 8 to 15.
