150 persons with disabilities join 3,000 people to do yoga in Indonesia

As the world gets together to celebrate International Yoga Day, observed every year on June 21, among other countries, Indonesia is setting unique goals. Over 150 persons with disabilities join 3000 people to do yoga in the country at State University of Surabaya, and in the process set a record too.
The unique achievement was shared by Ambassador Sandeep Chakravorty who said, “From Surabaya to the World. With more than 150 persons with disabilities joining 3000 participants at celebs at State University of Surabaya, UNESA, Museum of Records Indonesia (MURI) officially recognised it as an Indonesian record.”
It was also shared by the Indian Embassy in Jakarta, who also added, “A historic milestone for inclusivity and wellness!”. Embracing this year’s theme, Yoga For Healthy Ageing, the embassy also highlighted how this event proved that yoga is truly for everyone, at any stage of life.”
