40kg expired chilli, mixed meat and veg: Bengaluru’s Chairman’s Club kitchen shut over hygiene violations
Food safety officials closed and seized a kitchen at Chairman’s Club in Bengaluru. Major hygiene and safety violations were discovered during a special inspection conducted on September 3. Officials found and seized 40kg of expired chilli and improperly labelled food products. Unhygienic conditions and improper storage of food items were also noted by authorities. Legal action has been initiated against the establishment for these serious deficiencies.
