A man in his 50s was arrested after allegedly raping his class 10 daughter in Bengaluru. The girl had returned home to celebrate the Varamahalakshmi festival, as her mother is deceased. Her classmates noticed her distress and encouraged her to share her experience. Following their intervention, a police complaint was filed with support from child welfare committee members.
