Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper: India’s second sleeper train to start this month
The Indian railway board has announced the introduction of the Vande Bharat Sleeper train service. It will connect SMVT Bengaluru and Mumbai CSMT, significantly reducing travel time to under 16 hours. Currently, the only direct train takes around 24 hours for the journey. This new service will operate six days a week, with specific stoppages along the route. Passengers have long awaited faster connectivity between these major cities in India.
