Five GBA staffers attacked while clearing footpath on Commercial Street in Bengaluru
Five Greater Bengaluru Authority staffers were injured during an anti-encroachment drive. One female assistant engineer was allegedly targeted with pepper spray during the assault. Police arrested ten individuals and detained two others following the incident. Attempt-to-murder charges will be pressed against those involved in the attack. The anti-encroachment drive continued despite the violence on Tuesday.
