The Mumbai Indians (MI) are all set to lock horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2026 match on May 10 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Raipur.
Ahead of the match, MI`s veteran batsman, Suryakumar Yadav, took to social media to announce the arrival of his newborn baby girl.
Earlier, under his leadership, the “Paltan” secured a dominating victory by six wickets against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. During the match, MI`s regular skipper Hardik Pandya did not make his appearance, as he was unwell.
In his absence, Suryakumar led the team. The 35-year-old batsman is yet to deliver a big knock for the team in the ongoing edition of the cash-rich league.
Currently, the “Paltan” is placed in the ninth position with three wins and seven losses out of 10 matches. They have a net run rate (NRR) of -0.649 and six points.
On the other hand, the Royal Challengers are in the third position with six wins and three defeats out of nine games. They have a net run rate (NRR) of +1.420 and 12 points.
Before taking on the “Men in Blue and Gold”, the Rajat Patidar-led men are featuring in the match against LSG, which is underway at the Ekana Cricket Stadium B Ground in Lucknow.
