In the IPL 2026 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have reached the score of 95 runs for the loss of no wickets after the completion of nine overs at the Ekana Cricket Stadium B Ground in Lucknow.
The match has been temporarily stopped due to rain.
Having put to bat first, LSG`s opening batsmen Mitchell Marsh and Arshin Kulkarni have showcased a sensible batting display.
Facing 32 balls, Marsh has scored 76 runs, with the help of seven boundaries and the same number of maximums, whereas Arshin has accumulated 17 runs off 22 deliveries, laced with a boundary.
RCB`s Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood, Krunal Pandya, Rasikh Salam, and Suyash Sharma will continue the hunt for their first wickets.
Earlier, Royal Challengers Bengaluru`s (RCB) skipper Rajat Patidar won the toss and elected to bowl first.
After winning the toss, RCB skipper Patidar said, “We will bowl first. It`s not as loud as Chinnaswamy, but it`s still loud. I think we`re gonna get a pretty hard surface, but I`m not sure, it`s a black soil pitch and the past four or five matches here had low scores. We`ll try to restrict them to as low a score as possible. (on the break) It was a good break I would say. And everyone is looking in good frame of mind. And we came together after six or seven days of pretty hard work plus a couple of weeks. As I said, everyone is doing pretty well throughout the tournament and we are looking forward for this game. We`re playing with the same team”.
The Super Giants will enter the clash with two changes. Josh Inglis will make way for Arshin Kulkarni, and Shahbaz Ahmed will replace M Siddharth.
