In the IPL 2026 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) emerged victorious by nine runs at the Ekana Cricket Stadium B Ground in Lucknow.

With an aim of chasing the target of 213 runs (according to the DLS method), opening the innings, Jacob Bethell was dismissed on four runs in five balls, including a boundary. Stalwart Virat Kohli was dismissed on a two-ball duck.

Devdutt Padikkal departed after delivering a knock of 34 runs in 25 balls, which included three boundaries and a maximum. Wicketkeeper-batsman Jitesh Sharma lost his wicket on one run in three balls.

Bengaluru`s captain Rajat Patidar led from the front, as he garnered 61 runs off 31 deliveries, laced with three boundaries and six maximums. Impact Player, Tim David, played a fiery knock of 40 runs in just 17 balls. His knock also included four boundaries and three maximums.

Krunal Pandya and Romario Shepherd registered unbeaten knocks of 28 runs and 23 runs, respectively. Facing 16 balls, Krunal smashed two boundaries and two maximums, whereas Romario smashed three boundaries and a maximum in his 15-ball knock.

Lucknow`s Prince Yadav returned with the figures of three wickets for 33 runs in four overs. Shahbaz Ahmed also bagged two wickets. Mohammed Shami chipped in with one wicket. Impact Player, Mayank Yadav, and Digvesh Rathi went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against RCB.

Earlier, having been put to bat first, LSG`s opening batsman Arshin Kulkarni departed after scoring 17 runs in 24 balls, including a boundary.

Fellow opening batsman Mitchell Marsh has struck a blazing century. Facing 56 balls, the right-handed batsman smashed 111 runs, laced with nine boundaries and the same number of maximums.

Later, Nicholas Pooran departed after scoring 38 runs in 23 balls, including four boundaries and a maximum. Skipper Rishabh Pant smashed an unbeaten 32 runs, which came in just 10 balls, including four boundaries and two maximums. Aiden Markram did not face any balls. With this, the Super Giants posted a total of 209 runs for the loss of three wickets in the rain-curtailed match of 19 overs against the Royal Challengers.

RCB`s star all-rounder Krunal Pandya returned with the figures of one wicket for 31 runs in four overs. Josh Hazlewood and Rasikh Salam also chipped in with one wicket each. Hazlewood conceded 49 runs in four overs, whereas Salam was smashed for 31 runs in his spell of four overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Suyash Sharma, and Romario Shepherd went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against LSG.
