S Indushekhar reportedly killed his wife Sunitha and six of her relatives at their rented house. Following the murders, he and his daughter disposed of the bodies in various locations. Investigators believe that financial disputes related to gold jewellery may have motivated the killings. The police have found several bodies and are investigating further connections to the crime. Indushekhar’s actions stem from a long-standing marital conflict exacerbated by family support.
