Realme 16X smartphone launches in India:6.8-inch screen with 50MP camera and 7000mAh battery, starting price ₹25,999
Realme has launched its new mid-range smartphone, the Realme 16X 5G, in India. It features a 144Hz LCD, 45W fast charging, and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor. The phone has a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate. This display offers brightness up to 1,200 nits in high brightness mode. The Realme 16X 5G has received MIL-STD 810H durability certification. The phone also has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. Performance and software The Realme 16X 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor built on a 6nm process. It comes with 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The phone’s storage can be expanded up to 2TB with a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. Realme has promised smooth performance for up to five years with the phone. Battery and camera The Realme 16X 5G is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery. It supports 45W fast charging and 6.5W reverse wired charging. For photography, the phone features a single 50MP camera on the back. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP camera on the front. Both front and rear cameras can record videos at 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. Connectivity and other features For connectivity, the phone supports 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. It features a USB Type-C port. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C audio, and a bottom-mounted speaker. The speaker supports 400% ultra volume.
